I continually seek to improve my professional knowledge in regards to Australian Professional Standards for Teachers, the Quality Teaching Framework, the NSW curriculum, the NSW regulations, the National Disability Act and all applicable governing bodies for teachers. As a beginning career teacher I seek feedback from colleagues as part of my ongoing professional learning and collaboration with other teachers, this is essential to the building my evolving pedagogy, resources base and strategies for my lifelong career. I will develop professional and ethical relationships with parents and families and establish professional links with the community. I attend the ANZAC and Harmony day celebrations each year as part of establishing community links and seek to keep current referral information for families as required.
